Aloha! We have done a lot of travelling and been to many different attractions in our lifetime. Sometimes things can be built up a little too much and when we arrive we are disappointed. Maui is not like that at all! We think that all of the activities here are even better than you would expect. Some may seem expensive but they are definitely worth what you will pay. We have been asking people for their comments on the activities here for over 15 years now and we have never heard anyone say they were disappointed. Some of the most beautiful things you will do here are free. Just driving around the island is in itself an experience. The drive to Hana or Kahakaloa is a incredible. There is beauty everywhere that is beyond belief. Hiking cost nothing unless you hire a guide and you can pick up a hiking book at the local stores here for a few dollars that will tell you where all the good hiking is. A day at the beach is free and certainly Maui has the most beautiful beaches in the world for swimming, snorkeling, diving and surfing. So all and all as a destination Maui is top notch. Plan carefully and do the things you can afford and will probably not be able to do anywhere else. If you can only afford 1 or 2 costly activities the Luau should be your first choice of course. During Whale season the Whale Watch Cruises are a must. A Dinner Cruise or Snorkeling Cruise is nice because you get to see Maui from the water. It is an incredible site and Sunsets here are a phenomenon! We want you to have the best possible time while you are here on Maui. We have done just about everything in the 15 years that we have been here. The following is a list of what we think you would enjoy the most. There are certain things you just must do while you are here. We recommend making your reservations early so you do not miss out on anything. The luau is usually sold out weeks in advance and the first to reserve get the best seats. Sincerely |
