Introduction Aloha! Since 1988 we have helped over 7000 couples fulfil their wedding dreams. Weddings in Maui have become very popular because of our changing times, affordability, and because of the fact that there is truly no place in the world as gorgeous or appropriate for such a spiritual occasion. Maui is the perfect place to have a wedding or renew your wedding vows. Whether it is just the two of you or a traditional wedding party, nothing compares to the incredible ocean views, warm sand, sunsets, rainbows, palm trees and mountains! Most ceremonies take place outdoors, and rarely is the weather less than perfect. Your wedding can be formal or informal. Many couples choose the casual beach setting at sunset or in the morning. Others prefer a garden setting and formal attire. There are no set rules or restrictions with an island wedding, and that is the most wonderful part of the whole concept. Fortunately, the success of a Maui wedding does not depend on a limitless budget. Instead, it is the careful planning and thoughtful organisation that creates your "perfect wedding". Often our couples find that it is much less costly to have their wedding here on Maui and definitely much easier. Every couple should determine their priorities and make a realistic decision on what they would like to have, what they want to do and how much they can afford to spend. The following information is designed to take you through the step-by-step planning. We realise that it would be difficult for you to make the arrangements from where you are. That is why we are here. We can make all the arrangements for you. Once you decide what you want and let us know, all you have to do is relax, have a great time, and enjoy your wedding. Rather than having set packages, we personally tailor the wedding arrangements to fit your dreams and ideas. We can begin by discussing the plans with you by phone or letter, and everything will be set before you arrive. Once you are here on our island paradise, you will meet with your marriage license agent and then with us to go over all of the details one last time to make sure everything is exactly the way you want it. It is as simple as that! Congratulations on your choice to be married in paradise! We look forward to helping you with your wedding plans! Romantic Maui Wedding Decide on a date If you are going to be visiting Maui for your wedding and maybe bringing a few guests, it is a good idea to start planning at least 3 to 4 months in advance, if possible. This way you have a better chance of reserving the location you want, and we will have a better chance of getting you the finest minister and photographer available. If you make your wedding plans at the last minute, you will not be able to be as selective. You should allow 2 days to get to Maui and recover from the trip. There is a time change to deal with and you will need to get your Marriage License. We recommend that you wait at least until your 3rd day here to have your wedding. If you will be inviting a large number of guests, whether you will be visiting or you live in Maui, you will want to start your plans at least 6 months in advance. But, if you are one of those last minute planners that we sometimes get, we will do our very best to accommodate you. It helps if you are a little flexible with the date so we can try to get you the best minister or photographer available. Choose the time of day... The time you select for your ceremony is very important. Mornings are wonderful. Early in the day, the beaches are not crowded. The light is perfect for photography and it is also the coolest time. You might want to start by 8:00 AM. Most couples will go to breakfast or brunch after their morning wedding. They will then have the rest of the day to spend together. With more private locations becoming available, we are now able to do late morning and early afternoon weddings as well. Sunset, of course, is also a beautiful time for your wedding. Maui's sunsets are the best in the world. Most beach goers have called it a day, so this gives you more privacy. You will want to allow about one hour to an hour and a half for the complete wedding, depending on how much photography or video coverage you desire. This way there is enough light to get great photos of the ceremony. The time will go by very quickly. If you are planning a reception you will, of course, need to allow a few hours for that as well. There will be more information about receptions later. Once we know exactly what your plans are we can help you select the time you will need to start. We have a sunset chart in our office and we can guide you if you would like. There is also a sunset chart on our web page. Airfare and Accommodations... You will want to find a Travel Agent that is familiar with Hawaii. If you plan ahead, you can get great bargains, especially in airfare. If you would like some help with accommodations or activities just let us know. There are hotels, condominiums, lodges, bed and breakfasts, and even campgrounds available. The accommodation rates change with the seasons. No matter where you stay, if it is your first visit to Maui, try to get an ocean view if you can afford one. Nothing compares. Be careful because there is a difference between ocean side and ocean view. Guests... If you would like to send your guests invitations, there are many tropical ones available at your local stationery or bridal stores or online. Many couples want Maui as a location for a large wedding and other couples come to Maui to get away from the hassle of dealing with a large wedding. You may want to keep it small and intimate. Either way there are locations and vendors to fit every need. Definitions: Expert - Having much special knowledge and experience in some particular field. A Wedding Consultant is a very important consideration. There are many in the Islands and their services vary greatly. It is important that you work with someone you feel you can trust. We have many years of experience and our years of experience can save you an unfortunate one. As we do business with most of the wedding services available on a daily basis, we are familiar with who is reliable, responsible and easy to work with. We will make all the arrangements for you and all you have to make is one call to us. We will also confirm everyone the day of the wedding and take care of any last minute problems that could arise. This frees you to relax and enjoy this special time. Having a consultant present at your ceremony or reception will give you the benefit of having a friend, bridesmaid and sometimes a witness if there are no guests. It is a true luxury to have someone there to coordinate everything for you. It is our belief that nothing but the best is good enough for your special day. We love what we do and we do it well. We plan every wedding as if it were our own, paying special attention to every detail. We will be glad to help you with other things including dinner arrangements, beauty shop appointments, sightseeing, activities, luaus and car rentals. We do have a travel agent here in Maui that can also help you with your travel plans and accommodations if needed. Just let us know you need help and we will have her get in touch with you. We also have a link to her in our website. You can call us anytime. We try to be in the office as much as possible. However, since we personally attend each wedding it is difficult to maintain exact hours. The best time to be sure to reach us is early morning Hawaii time. Remember, there is a time difference. We are 6 hours earlier than Eastern Time Zone, 5 hours earlier than Central, 4 hours earlier than Mountain, and 3 hours earlier than Pacific. If we are not in the office, please leave your name, area code, phone number, and a brief message on our friendly answering machine. Whenever you contact us you will want to refer to your wedding date and the Groom's last name. That is how we organise our files. Wedding Location... You should decide on the location of your choice in the beginning stages of planning so that we can inform all of your wedding specialists where the wedding will take place. Just about any place that you select to be married in Maui will be breath-takingly beautiful. Some locations have better weather and more privacy than others. You do not want to select a location that is difficult to get to. It is nice to be close to your hotel or to your reception site if you are planning one. You can choose from locations such as beaches, gardens, gazebos, private homes, yachts, hotels, chapels, parks, etc.... Most Maui beaches can be used for a wedding with exception of the Kaanapali beaches. A permit is required and is usually $20, We will apply for that permit for you. So, beaches are one area you can save money on if you are on a tight budget. It is better to choose an inexpensive wedding site than to fore-go having photography, for example. Please keep in mind that your wedding party should be limited to 25 people to use a beach. For larger groups we recommend a more private location. The hotels have fees for the use of their grounds and the fees do vary greatly. When using a hotel for your site, any champagne, cake, etc.... must be purchased through them. This makes it a little more expensive. You will want to reserve your wedding or reception site a few months in advance, especially if you will be sending out invitations. Some condominiums have wonderful grounds. If you are a guest, most times they will allow you to use the grounds at no charge. These grounds have to be reserved in advance. Keep in mind that if you use a Hotel for your wedding you still need a permit to use the beach for photography. Private homes are becoming very popular here because most couples want privacy. Most are reasonably priced and offer both a view and a place to have a reception as well. Catering is always less expensive done privately versus a hotel. If you need help with selecting a location you can find many in our web
site. You will find a list of locations with descriptions and prices at
the end of this booklet. You will also see a location video listed at the
end of the location information. If you still need help in choosing your
wedding location, just give our office a call and we will be glad to give
you our advice. Hawaii has NO RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS or WAITING PERIOD. If you are 19 years old or younger, please bring your Birth Certificate with you. PROOF of final divorce is not required unless it was granted less than 30 days prior to your wedding date. You will be asked detailed information regarding this, so you will need to know the County and State in which the divorce occurred, and the Month and Year it was final. If you were divorced in the 30 days prior to your wedding date, Proof of Finalisation stating where and when will be required. NO BLOOD TEST IS REQUIRED FOR THE BRIDE OR GROOM. You should obtain a Marriage License Packet that includes complete information and a License Application Form, by going to our license web page and then to to The Health Departments link or by writing to: MARRIAGE LICENSE SECTION P.O. BOX 3378 HONOLULU, HAWAII 96801 You can apply for your marriage license online anytime prior to your arrival. Print the license out and bring this form with you to Maui. You may want to carry it on the plane just in case your luggage gets misplaced. You will sign this form in front of the Licensing Agent here on Maui. After you appear before the License Agent on Maui the license is good for up to 30 days. We will prearrange an appointment for you to get the actual license signed once you are here on Maui. When we meet we will give you a map to their location. Both the BRIDE and GROOM must be present for this. If you have any questions, please contact us. The fee for the license at this time is $60.00 which you can pay online.A fee of $5.00 will be paid to the license agent. You will pay the Licensing Agent direct. They will not take credit cards so be prepared. If you do not apply online you will pay the agent the full $65.00. Ministers... We arrange for a minister that we feel will best suit your preferences. Most couples prefer a non-denominational service with a Hawaiian flair. We have heard many and we do have our favourites, so you can be assured of a lovely ceremony. There are many ministers in Maui. They come in all denominations and there are women as well as men. There are also State Officiates available. They are not actual ministers. They are just licensed by the State to perform marriage ceremonies. Some couples have special vows or verses that they like to include. This is usually not a problem. Please send them to us in advance if possible. Once we have reserved your minister we will be happy to send you a copy of their ceremony if you request one. There is one Rabbi on Maui. One can also be flown in from Oahu. We do have a couple of officiates that do a real nice Jewish ceremony and they will incorporate the usual traditions as well. There are several Catholic priests available but Catholic weddings must be held in a Catholic Church. The couple is required to complete the Precana classes before arriving in Hawaii. If you wish we can send you a complete sheet of info to help you plan a Catholic wedding once we are in the planning stages. Most ministers and officiates will travel to any part of the island, if necessary. Some will charge if it is a long distance. Some dress very casual and some wear robes. Traditionally, there is a Hawaiian prayer and a lei exchange incorporated into the ceremony. If you have a preference when it comes to the minister, just let us know on your wedding checklist that is enclosed. We will do our best to match you up with the best person to fit your needs! Our Basic Wedding or Vow Renewal Plan... Our basic wedding plan is where you would start and it includes our arrangement services, assistance with licensing procedures, when necessary, as well as location selection. Also included are our consulting fees, the minister's fee, witnesses if needed, two Aloha Leis, a decorative wedding certificate, and your own wedding consultant present at the ceremony. We will also apply for your Beach Permit when necessary. Currently our Basic Wedding Plan is $389.00 if you have 10 people or less. Due to strict liquor laws we are not allowed to sell or give you Champagne. You may however provide your own if you are using a private location. No alcohol can be served at the public beaches and at resorts we have to order it through them. The following information contains many of the options you might want to choose to make this special day a success and an experience you will never want to forget! Photography... Below you will find packages that are designed for couples that visit our island and are intended to cover small, intimate ceremonies and create fine portraits.. In most cases you will receive them before you leave Maui. If not, they will have to be shipped which will cost anywhere from $10.00 to $30.00. Larger, more in-depth coverage is available in our website for traditional large weddings or receptions. When we know your plans we can help you with this selection. Please notify us as soon as possible when you make your decision on photography so we can get you the best!
These packages are perfect for small beach wedding!
For more photography packages please visit our photography page in the website. If you need help customising a package that is right for your needs please call us at our 800 number. Sorry, but we can no longer allow photographers at our weddings that do not work for us. If you have a relative you are bringing that is a professional photographer we can make an allowance for this if you are willing to sign a release. Videography ... It has become standard procedure for wedding planners to include professional video services in our itinerary. A video makes it possible to relive, forever, the sights, sounds, excitement, and joy you will experience on your wedding day. It is also the best way to share this special occasion with family and friends who are unable to attend in person. A video enables you to watch the ceremony that you did but were too nervous to remember. This will probably be the only time in your lives that you will be featured in your own professionally produced video, so be sure to have it done right. The video production companies we employ are active in a wide variety of production work ranging from television commercials, news coverage and sporting events, to convention group entertainment and special event programs. The same technical expertise and quality equipment used in these productions are utilised in our wedding videos. This guarantees you the sharpest picture possible. Your personalised music can be added if you bring a CD. Professional camera operators understand the appropriate framing, composition, angles and camera moves for each scene. These shots are then creatively edited together with music and the live-recorded audio to become a smooth, flowing, very entertaining video remembrance of your wedding day. Your video will be sent to you on DVD unless otherwise requested. This includes beautiful scenic Maui footage and music. We can add your favourite song if you bring a cassette or CD. You can add your childhood or dating photos to your video! Suitable for larger weddings in areas that afford different perspectives. We look forward to producing for your enjoyment, the best, most reasonably priced wedding video available anywhere. Reserve early to be sure the best is available for your wedding day. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery of your wedding video. You can put a rush on your video if needed for an extra charge of $50.00. Flowers... Flowers definitely add beauty, fragrance and distinction to a wedding. They are very important for quality photography and video. The bride should have a bouquet and the groom a boutonniere, if he is wearing a jacket. You will definitely want to have Leis for a lei exchange, which is traditional for a wedding in Hawaii. We do include two in our Basic Wedding Plan for you! They are Tuberose and have a small corsage incorporated into them. The Haku is a headpiece hand-woven of greens and flowers. It can be light or heavy and it is worn like a crown. A veil or streamers can be attached if you like. It really adds a Hawaiian touch to any wedding. Remember, if you decide to wear a hair flower, it should be placed over the left ear. In Hawaii, this means you are spoken for. It is also the side that is photographed the most. The Maile lei is an open lei woven from Maile leaves. It is quite long and adds a great deal of Hawaiian flair to any wedding. It is green in colour and can also be entwined with flowers. This is great to take home for a keepsake but must be inspected at the airport. Many wonderful flowers are available in Hawaii. The most popular are Orchids, Gardenias, Tuberose and Pikake. Most all of the standard flowers are available as well. Maui's flower is actually the Pink Rose. The two flowers that are next to impossible to get here are Lilies of the Valley and Peonies. Be sure to include flowers for your attendants. Leis make a nice gift for quests as well. We will have your flowers waiting for you when you arrive at your wedding site.
Let us know your colour theme. You can send us a clipping from a magazine if you wish and we will pass it on to our florist. They will duplicate it as close as possible. We only work with the best florists in Maui. We usually give them the style and colours you want and let them do their thing. You will not be disappointed. You can also view many bouquets in our site on the Internet. There is a link to our florist's web site under the Table of Contents. Some flowers are seasonal and will require a quote from the florist.
For more information on flowers please visit our Flower Web Page! Music... Romantic Maui Weddings would be happy to arrange for a talented soloist (guitar) to bring the gift of music to your ceremony. Normally each wedding encompasses three songs for $150 per musician. The Hawaiian Wedding Song is a must if you are getting married in Hawaii! It is usually a good idea to let your musician play what is appropriate for a Maui wedding. Most are willing to take whatever requests you make if they know them. When you want to add a real touch of class we can arrange for a Harpist or even a Pianist to play beautiful, romantic, background music for your wedding. The fee for most classical instruments is $175. Also available are the flute, violin, cello. The fee for a guitar or ukulele is $150. You might also like to have a Hula Dancer perform for you along with the musician. This is getting to be very popular here. The fee for a Hula Dancer is $150. Also available are Conch Shell Blowers and Torch Bearers if you really want to go Hawaiian style. The fee for each is $75.00. If you reserve Torch Bearers early we can include the Conch free. If you have a special selection of music, please send us the sheet music and a cassette and our musicians will be glad to learn it for an extra charge of $50. Mail them 45 days prior to wedding. For a reception you can plan on approximately $150 per musician hour. Disc Jockeys are available but are often as expensive as live musicians. We often have a trio and dancing at some of the private homes or resorts we use. You may want to stay with the theme of your wedding when choosing which musicians you may like to have. In other words, if you use a Hawaiian Guitarist you might do a Hawaiian Trio for a Luau reception. On occasion, we have also had a String Quartet or even a Steel Drum Band. Most anything you might want is available. Music is always a nice touch to add to your wedding in Maui! We have been working with most of the musicians here for over 20 years and they love what they do. If you are planning to have a video of your wedding, it can really add a lot to the entrance you will make. Many of our couples even dance to the last song at the end of the ceremony. Music Web Page. Limousine Service... Our Limousines are 7-passenger, white, late model stretch Lincolns and Cadillacs, equipped with every amenity available. We proudly feature two of the longest cars on the island. All Limos are kept spotless and in perfect working order. We require all drivers to wear a suit or tuxedo. They are non-smokers, polite, and professionally trained. It is truly a first class way to travel. A RED CARPET is physically rolled out for every client! So why not arrive in style on your special day. We love to pamper! There is an antique Rolls Royce Limousine available also. Of course you want to reserve early to get the best cars and the lowest rates. The hourly rate is approximately $125 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. In most cases you will require a 2 to 2 and 1/2 hour ride. Keep in mind that our weddings are about 1 and 1/2 hours long so you are only in the limousine for the travel time. Some couples like to be picked up after the wedding, do a 2 hour sunset cruise, and be dropped off for dinner afterwards. This allows them to have more time in the Limo. On the other hand it is nice to have the Limousine arrival on your wedding video. So let us know if you would like this service as soon as possible. We do require a credit card to make this reservation. Also available are the Classy Taxis (featuring a 1929 Model A Ford Phaeton Limo). You might even want to consider a Horse and Carriage for your special day. This is only available in a few locations. Attire for the Bride... There are places to buy or rent a gown in Hawaii but your time is valuable while visiting and you do not want to spend it shopping or rushing around. If you wish to find your attire after you arrive, you should allow a few extra days before the wedding. You might need alterations. If you are getting married on grass or the beach, please be sure to shorten your dress appropriately. Your dress should not touch the ground if you are in bare feet. We do not like to have our brides tripping or stumbling up the beach when they make their entrance. This will look awful on your video. We actually see this happen far too often. If you should need to have your gown steamed on arrival that is not a problem. However, when you board your plane to Hawaii, ask the flight attendant to hang your gown. They are very helpful. (Some airlines have been known to donate a bottle of champagne to the couple as a token of "aloha spirit"). Our steaming fee is $25 per hour with a 1 hour minimum. You may also want to ship your dress ahead by UPS or Fed Ex. If you do please call us for the correct mailing address. Do not mail it to our P.O. Box. Attire for Men... Many couples choose casual attire. In Hawaii, you can wear just about anything you desire to your wedding (it is suggested that you get your prospective bride's approval before the wedding). Some couples even choose to shop for matching casual wear after they arrive. If you choose to go with formal wear, your tuxedo can be waiting for you when you arrive. You can find our online brochure and order form at http://www.justmauied.com/style.html. Keep in mind that Hawaii has a warm climate. As the sun is setting, it does get cooler. There are usually balmy breezes near the beach. Most of the time, men are comfortable in a tuxedo. It's the nervous moment that really makes them warm. The formal attire for the bride and groom makes a wonderful contrast for the beach locations. We will need to have your measurements here no later than three weeks before the wedding. If there are problems, please phone or fax them to us. Please have men measured by an experienced person (at your local formal wear store) or if he has a suit that fits well; measure him in that, (following the directions on the back of the tuxedo sheet or in our web site). Please fill in all sizes to avoid delay. If you do it properly the tuxedo will fit well when you arrive. If we have to alter any sleeves or cuffs there will be a $5.00 for each one if it is due to improper measurements. If you are not sure of the style, send us a clipping (from a magazine like Brides) or a handout from your local tuxedo shop, showing what you like. We will get a tuxedo that is as close as possible, if not exactly the same. It does not help to send stock numbers or names, as these vary from store to store. If the bride is wearing an off white dress, be sure to order an ivory (not white) shirt. A regular tuxedo rents for $130.00. A designer style tuxedo or tail coat rents for $140. If you order a designer vest there is an additional charge of $20.00. There is an extra charge of $10.00 for a banded collar shirt, which comes with a button cover. Everything is included with the tuxedo except the socks. The tuxedos must be returned the day after use by 12:00 noon or there will be an additional charge. All cancellations must be in at least two weeks before use or you will be charged. You will find a measurement sheet inserted in this booklet for your convenience. Please fill in all the blanks. You can mail it to us or fax it to us at (808) 665-1412. Our address is P.O. Box 13232, Lahaina, Hawaii, 96761. The Hawaiian Wedding Shirt is available for rental or purchase, usually worn with white pants and white shoes. It is a lightweight, white, collared shirt with a lace inlay in the yoke, and cuff of a 3/4-length sleeve. It is usually worn with a sash for weddings in Hawaii. The complete outfit rents for $75.00 or you can just rent the shirt to wear with your own pants for $35.00. Sashes rent for $5.00 and come in many colours (red is most popular). These shirts come in small, medium, large, extra large, and extra extra large. You can see photos of the Hawaiian Wedding Wear on our web pages. We also carry many Hawaiian print Bow Ties, Vest and Cummerbunds. Visit our website to see the different patterns. Wedding Specialties... Tableside Chefs A gourmet chef will prepare a romantic dinner for two (or more) at your wedding site. The table is set with fine china and crystal. Tiki torches and candlelight are used to brighten the occasion. No restaurant can surpass this experience. You can find the menu in our web site. Prices start at $400. Dove Release Since ancient times white doves have been regarded as a symbol of love, peace, and purity of heart. As few as two or as many as 40 can be released from beautiful white wicker baskets. Call for a quote or see our web site! Butterfly Release Elegant and incredible. Legend holds that when you make a wish and release a butterfly your wish will come true. This is a glorious sight of winged enchantment. It's great on video. You will find up to date prices in our website! Horse and Carriage Romantic, intimate, and unique horse drawn carriages add magic to the moment and stunning photo opportunity. We do not recommend doing this on your wedding day but we do think it is a great thing to do on another occasion. There is a one-hour minimum at $200.00 per hour. This is available in just a few location or you can go upcountry and ride with a fabulous view. Quick Sketch Portrait Artist A professional artist will draw your caricature or sketch a realistic portrait in less than 5 minutes. This is perfect for a wedding reception. $150.00 per hour. One-hour minimum. Private Hairdresser and Make-Up Artist We will arrange for a Bridal Beautician to come to your Hotel and do your hair and make-up for your wedding day. The fee for the Bride to have her hair and Makeup done is $135 to $150. Each additional person (bridesmaids or moms) would be $95 each. See website for more prices. Massage The best thing you can do for yourself! This is complete relaxation for $95.00 per person, per hour in your room. You may also do a Pamper Party, usually held at a private facility such as Cottage By the Sea! This could include your Maid of Honour and Bridesmaids or it could be for just the two of you. Call for a quote. Receptions... In Maui, things are a little different when it comes to the reception. Because often there is only the couple or maybe a few of their close friends or relatives, it is usually kept simple. This provides quite a savings in comparison to the traditional wedding at home. Often couples choose to have a cake or champagne at the wedding site so that they can have the traditional cake cutting and toast photographed. There is usually a grassy area near the beach to place a cake table. For your champagne, we will, of course, provide an ice bucket and toast glasses for the smaller groups. If you decide to have a cake, a fresh flower top is the way to go. We will provide a table, knife, plates, napkins and forks. Cake prices start at $75. After the wedding, most couples will go to any of the hundreds of restaurants available for dinner. Maui has many fine restaurants, both in and out of the hotels. Your budget would be the major concern. However, be sure to plan something special for the evening. We can both guide you, and make reservations for you if you wish. A Beachside Chef is also a great dinner experience and is listed under specialties. For the larger wedding receptions, the use of a hotel or a private home is the best option. There are a few private places that you can have catering at, and even a private luau if you wish. Some restaurants are also offering private areas that can be used and you may even have a DJ or live music if you wish. Prices will vary greatly. The bar can be the most expensive part of the wedding reception. Many couples keep the cost down by just doing beer and wine. If you decide to use a private home, it will be necessary to rent tables, chairs, and linens. We do have all rental and reception prices in our web page or call us for a quote. Many menus are available in the web site listed under Receptions. Romantic Maui Weddings also offers rehearsal dinners and beach parties. We are however, not allowed to serve alcohol on the beach. Sound Advice... When you arrive in Hawaii, you will probably be ready to run right out and get a suntan. Even though the weather here does not feel that hot, the sun can do a lot of damage in a short time. You do not want to get a burn before the wedding. It will definitely show in your photographs and you will be most uncomfortable, maybe even sick. Please use lots of sunscreen and you will have a wonderful time and go back with a tan. Maui has many wonderful and beautiful waterfalls. Most of these are only accessible by hiking. At the bottom of the larger ones there is a mist in the air, so no cameras can be taken close. A waterfall is not the best location for a wedding. Many resorts have beautiful man-made waterfalls that do photograph well. Save the large waterfalls for a wonderful hiking experience. Do not consider having taped music at your wedding site out-of-doors.
There are too many wonderful natural sounds to enjoy. It really subtracts
from the quality of your island wedding If you are planning a sunset wedding, you will not want to try to make one of the islands popular luau shows the same night. The shows start too early. However, you should definitely attend a luau another night or have your wedding a little earlier and then attend the Luau. There are several available and it is an experience you will want to take home with you. Maui has a lot of wonderful talent and the Aloha spirit is very much alive here. We can make your luau reservations for you if you desire. Just give us the date you would like and number of people. A credit card deposit is required. The price varies depending on which Luau and how many people.. Maui does have its own locally made champagne. It's made in Maui and is available throughout the State. Maui Brut is a little pink in colour and tastes great. You may want to try it just for fun. If you have decided to let us be your Maui Wedding Planners please realise how important it is that you trust us to choose the best professionals to cover your wedding. Because of insurance requirements and permits needed we can no longer allow couples to hire their own photographer or video person from Maui when we are the planners. We will only work with the professionals we know and trust. In most cases, you will take your photos home with you. A video will take a couple of weeks to edit and then send. If you are planning to have a reception when you return home, please allow enough time for the delivery of your photos and video. A video can take from 2 to 3 weeks to arrive. So, please plan on this! Once you have made your decisions, you should feel comfortable and have confidence in us. Now it is time to relax and enjoy this incredible, romantic and once in a lifetime experience. It does not get any better!
